HOW CAN I HELP!
Dear Friends,

Do you recall the excitement and anticipation you felt as a child preparing for the first day of school? Do you remember getting your outfit and supplies lined up and ready? Remember being worried about making friends and having a teacher who was supportive, engaging, and made learning fun?
​
Jenny felt all of that too. Her family relocated to Florida and were doing their best to fill out paperwork, scrape together enough for a backpack and supplies, and make sure her immunizations were up to date in time for school to start.
That’s when her family found out that there was a backlog of three months to get Jenny an appointment for the immunizations she needed to comply with the school’s policies.
Jenny’s family turned to the Back To School Coalition for help, otherwise she would miss the first two months of school. Jenny was able to receive the immunizations she needed to keep herself and her peers safe and healthy.

Project LINK has been the administrative arm of the Back-2-School Coalition of Hillsborough County for the last 20 years.
We have made sure that thousands of children have the medical care and supplies they need to be ready for school.
We are now planning our annual Back to School Health Clinics for this upcoming academic year.
​
We expect to provide children from our most vulnerable communities, with the immunizations and physicals they need to be ready for school while increasing our outreach efforts to their families.
Please partner with us to raise awareness and funding to continue providing these critical services. If families in our community don’t receive preventative care, they may fall into a gap that affects their children’s ability to learn, as well as the parent's capacity to sustain employment, to support their families.

Please join the Back to School Coalition of Hillsborough County, as we seek corporate partners, stakeholders, friends, and neighbors that will invest in a healthier community physically and mentally.

Be an active participant by purchasing school supplies, including but not limited to, book bags, pens, pencils, sharpeners, composition books, crayons, rulers, calculators, binders, etc.
​
If EACH of us, purchase one bookbag, collectively we can make a huge difference in our communities.
​
