HOW TO BECOME A VOLUNTEER

Back-to-School Health Clinic volunteers are an important part of making the event a success each year.  Our volunteers come from all sectors of the community: students, parents, school staff, local businesses, and non-profit organizations.  This is a Student Service Learning (SSL) approved volunteer opportunity.


 

DUTIES/TASK: Volunteers assist with filling book-bags with school supplies, event registration, event set-up, children activities, beverage and snack distribution, assist nursing staff, breakdown and clean-up tasks.  

Volunteer Requirements: 

 

  • Volunteers must be entering 9th grade or above
  • Volunteers under the age of 18 years old, must have signed parent permission Volunteer Commitment form.
  • All volunteers must apply online.  
  • Volunteers must attend one orientation session at the designated location and/or scheduled conference call.
